We aim to ship goods in stock within 2 working days, though during extremely busy periods, it may take an extra day or so to dispatch your order.
Some items are added to our website when we receive information from manufacturers about new unreleased products or new ranges that we expect to hold in stock soon, these items will be available for pre-order. We aim to keep estimated arrival times of pre-order stock up to date on the items individual listing, however, you are welcome to contact us and we shall be pleased to provide the information to you. Pre-ordered items will be shipped as soon as they are in our custody.
Some items such as Tiny Ties umbilical cord ties, blankets and soft toys, etc. are made to order and will be shipped upon completion. However, as a general guide Tiny Ties should be ready to ship within 1-3 business days, soft toys approximate lead time is 2 weeks and blankets 4 weeks. Please note that during busy periods these lead times may be extended without prior warning. Please feel free to contact us for an accurate completion and shipping date.
All goods delivered to the UK (including Channel Islands) are sent either by Royal Mail 2nd Class or by courier Monday - Friday (excl Bank Holidays).
Royal Mail 2nd Class Post: £2.95 or free for orders of £25 or more. Royal Mail 2nd class post is not a guaranteed next day service, though most orders do arrive next day, or within a couple of days. Please allow 10 working days for delivery (this is a time limit imposed by Royal Mail, not ourselves). Please note that these orders can be sent to all UK postcodes (including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands). For large, heavy or high value orders we reserve the right to split your order into more than one parcel or upgrade delivery from 2nd Class Post to an uninsured courier service at no extra cost. If you live in or around the area of Rochdale, Lancashire then you are welcome to collect your order at no charge, during shop opening hours, from Artisan Alley's Yarn Shop, First Floor, Shaw House, Shawclough Road, Rochdale, OL12 6ND. Simply enter the code 'COLLECT' at checkout and call in during shop opening times to collect your goods.

The maximum permitted weight per package is 2kg (including packaging), so if your order weighs more than 2kg, please contact us for a shipping quote. Packaging adds around 10% to the weight of the goods, so please allow for this when calculating the weight of your package. We do not make a profit from our postage charges – they simply reflect what Royal Mail charge us. Orders are usually delivered within 7-14 working days, though can sometimes take longer. Regrettably, we have no control over how long the international postal system will take to deliver your order. Please note that Royal Mail International packages do not have tracking numbers.

All prices on our website are in Pounds Sterling. When placing an order for delivery outside of the UK, you will be charged in Pounds Sterling, and your credit card company or bank will convert the amount into your local currency (e.g. Euros, Dollars, etc).
